Fine Art Prints

Since 2010, Mountain Wonder Photography has created fine art canvas prints that are 100% Canadian made — from the alpine landscapes we capture to the locally sourced pine frames we craft by hand. Our Giclée prints are stretched over internal wood frames made from sustainably harvested Canadian pine, with the option of an external painted frame, also made in-house.

In a time when Canadian sovereignty and craftsmanship matter more than ever, we are proud to offer authentic, Canadian-made art that reflects the raw beauty of our wilderness. Artist Statement

“I'm a professional photographer living in the Kootenay Rockies. I draw inspiration from the alpine landscapes of the Purcell mountain range in southeastern BC. My approach is about spending time, days or weeks, in a remote area. In time, the spirit of the place starts to reveal itself. I love the alpine environment; the complex ecosystem that thrives in it's harsh environment. My hope is that this work expresses some of the emotion I experienced out there, bringing beauty and inspiration into your life.”— Howard Smith
